seedy2,
NCL-JSI-NCL (TCX6156/7) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). The flight may operate non-stop depending on the temperatures and the wind, a decision will normally be taken on the day by the flight crew. It's due to the aircraft being weight restricted on take-off due to the relatively short runway (1640m, NCL is 2329m). If the passenger load is full and the winds / temperatures not favourable, the aircraft can't upload enough fuel to make the flight non-stop. Technical stops (re-fuelling) are normally done at Thessaloniki, adding an hour or so to the flight.

You aren't missing much to be honest! The high density seating on the 76W's make for a crampt flight, especially those in the centre column (4 seats). They are adequate, but but not the most comfortable. There are cabin photos linked from our What Aircraft? guide so you can see what to expect.

Thanks Darren. Still a bit of neurotic nora but it helps to be informed. I knew about the "short runway" before I booked. Brother-in-law is a pilot and takes great delight in winding me up
Don t know if anyone will know this info but t fly on 23/6/11 to punta cana and pre booked my seats separatly after i paid for the holiday, my tkts came yesterday and in the booklet where it tells me about my flight times and and checkin it says on the outbound flight standard seats but for inbound it says premium seats with extra width and legroom.
Do you think this is upgraded for us or is it just telling you about the seats you can book?
I know that there is no such thing as the premium service anymore but the bigger seats would be nice.
Any one who has flown recently may know
thanks marg
Did you book and pay for ex premium inbound?
You can prebook ex premium inbound, just not outbound.
Hi sorry to be another one that asks about aircraft type but I am flying MAN - LPA on 4th July (return 18th) and was wondering what type it is likely to be?
Welcome onboard

Please quote your flight numbers when requesting aircraft information as there are often several flights. This ensures we get the correct information for you.
Darren
Thanks Darren
Hi sunaddict
sbwors,
Any idea of what kind of Aircrafts going to be doing ABZ-TFS on flight number TCX 9116
Welcome onboard

ABZ-TFS-ABZ (TCX9116/7) are showing as a Boeing 757-200. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

I'm also flying MAN - LPA TCX 2216 on the 4th July =D
The booking system on TCX system show the seating plan for a B767-300, so who knows what will show up!

Interesting! Would prefer a 767 but not holding my breath! (Been on too many 757)
Look out for the family of 7!
We booked a couple of flights and wasn't sure if we'd be taking hold baggage as some relatives are going on a package at the same time and have hold baggage included and we were going to take advantage of any slack in their allowance.
We've now decided we need to take one hold bag between us, but you can't add these onto the booking via the online system, you have to call their 0871 call centre.
If we'd added them at time of booking it would have been £12 per bag per flight , to add them via call centre is £15 per bag per flight. Also you can only add bags for everyone on the booking unless you do it at the airport but then the price is £20+ per bag per flight.
Not impressed. All other airlines seem to allow you to add them on via online system.
I have just looked at flighstats and is informing me that tomorrows flight to cancun from Gatwick (TCX412) is using a 757. Surely this cannot be correct. Is there another site/s where I can check this out. Where do you check? I fly the same route in 3 weeks and will not be happy if this is correct. I was assured it would be a 330-200, and this is what I have pre-booked my seat on. I amhoping it is an ex MYT. Do they fly out of Gatwick?
Made some more investigations, it looks like they have been ussing 330-243 reg OY-VKF. Is this the same layout as the British registered aircraft? If not what are the differences.
Do you know what the flight from LGW/SFB is going to be on Friday. The flight number is TCX246/247.
