al26,
Airport timetables often have errors in them as they are put together months in advance and often don't get updated with any changes. Unless you are notified by the airline, your flights won't have changed. The system is showing TCX2548 is departing at 1355. By all means give TCX a call for peace of mind, but there are no changes showing.

I'm trying to book my seats on TCX134 for the 1st May 2012 to Holguin but there's a technical fault on Thomas Cook Airlines website. Is anyone else having problems?
Thanks very much for the quick reply Darren, that's reassuring, don't think i need to contact them now.

When did you book? If it's within the last 72 hours you won't be able to book seats yet, as the details won't have been passed to the airline.
I am booked on a thomas cook flight TCX5346 from East Midlands on 1/7/2012 to Lanzarote it is shown as airline 321 I have gone onto website to choose seats and seats 13A and 13 B have been booked as it looks as though there is no seat in front of 13A however on reading previous post row 12A has been mentioned as having extra leg room is my flight a different airline layout to previous postings
Flight with a TCX prefix are operated by Thomas Cook Airlines from EMA. Did you book those seats as extra legoom? If not, they won't be. You'll find a seat plan on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

I have booked seats 13A and 13B on the layout of the plane seat bookings on the thomas cook website it shows only 2 seats on each side on rows 11 and 12 and 3 seats on row13 with no seat shown in front of seat 13A I have not paid any extra for these seats so is it likely there is extra leg room on seat 13A
Thanks
Linda
RE 757-200, no bulkhead behind row 10 on any of the 757s, However avoid like the plague, rows 30 and 40
hi can anyone help here , i have a holiday booked with tcx , does anyone know the seating policy if there is one regarding children sitting with adults , we have booked meals so would assume we will be sat towards the front but with children of 8 and 5 how likely will it be they will be seated seperate from the adults if i dont pay the £40 to prebook seats
Not to sure on the right answer here but I am sure someone will correct me if wrong, last year on both my outbound and inbound flight. There were issues with parent and child not being seated together. And on both occasions the cabin crew said that they would not leave the stand until someone was willing to leave to change seats so that they could be seated together.
yes i suppose for the sake of £40 it maybe worthwhile just for peace of mind

Not necassarily, you can be seated anywhere and have a meal. Cabin crew will have a list of those who have booked meals so they can be served to whatever seats it's been requested at. As vicjayhay, for peace of mind, there's prebooked seating but children shouldn't be split from parents. There's no guarantee though.

We are flying to Turkey on 4th July (Manchester to Adnan Menderes ) . Our flight number is TCX 2684 .
We did the same destination last year and flew on a Scandinavian A330 . Can you tell me which type of aircraft is allocated for this years trip .
Many thanks

Welcome onboard

I don't have the full summer schedule as yet. MAN-ADB-MAN (TCX2684/5) are operated by an Airbus A320-200 currently. I'll know more from May.

Thanks for the welcome and fast reply Darren .
Hi there. Have just the other day booked my seats Man-Cun TCX A33O and was just wanting to know if we have booked fairly decent seats. We always booked the Premium Cabin when flying longhaul and will miss them this year. We are a party of 9, 6ad and 3ch and have booked seats at the back of the plane - 3x2seats and 1x3 seat. Any info greatly received!!
Welcome onboard

Seating is very much personal preference. There are no 'best' seats. What one person likes, another may not. The seats you have booked are fine, as good as any others.

Return 14th Oct Reus - Aberdeen - when booked flight was shown as BD7776 now showing as TCX 8123
With the flight number changing does this mean we are now on a Thomas Cook plane or are Thomas Cook using a British Midland flight?
I look forward to hearing from you.
If your flight numbers have changed to TCX, you're now on a Thomas Cook flight. I haven't got TCX8122/3 showing on my list as it's likely changed since I got it. Expect one of the narrow bodied aircraft though, Airbus A320-200 or Boeing 757-200.
Darren
Thanks for your reply. I've clicked through to the choose your seats section on flythomascook which shows a plane with 30 rows of seats so I think it will be A320-200.
