I have booked two seats on TOM568 from BHX to CUN, on 27/9/11. Previously when I have booked this flight, it has stopped at Manchester for "Refuelling". Does this flight still do this, or does it now fly direct.

BHX-CUN-BHX (TOM568/9) is operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER (long haul / winglets), usually G-OBYD and used to operate via MAN outbound for fuel as the runway at BHX wasn't long enough to allow the aircraft to take-off with sufficuent fuel. However, with the addition of blended winglets to the aircraft, the increased performance allows the flight to operate non-stop now with the required fuel so there's no need for the technical stop.

Hi Darren, we are travelling to cancun in 2 weeks time and have picked our seat numbers in premium, can these seats be given to anyone else or changed for other seats without us knowing about it until we get to the airport, we have the email from thomsonfly with the seat numbers on

Once you have chosen your seats, that's it, they're yours. It's what you have paid for with select your seat. This is unless the aircraft is changed, for example a technical problem.

It's 90 days before your flight over the phone and 60 days online. It's sometimes a little earlier than this though as it's whenever the flight is uploaded on to the system. It's 101 days before my next flight so not long before I can book mine!

Thomson only pay the license fee for one movie per flight. If there are lots of little ones it will be the childrens movie. Followed by two tv tapes, with both childrens and adult entertainment.

Please quote flight numbers when requesting aircraft information. There are often multiple flights. This ensures we get the correct information for you. Long haul flights out of LGW are operated by former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. These aren't 'old' aircraft, they are the same fleet age as the former Thomsonfly aircraft. You'll find extensive aircraft infomation on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi Darren, Thanks for the speedy reply. I was a little concerned as after paying £80 for extra leg room I read reviews that said only the seats in row 12 had extra leg room & they don't have a window as 2 each side and row 13 sold as extra leg room only truly is in 13A & F. I worry about everything & wanted to be as informed as poss before booking seat numbers!
can you please tell us what aircraft we will be flying on from manchester 18/09/11 to cuba holguin flight number tom094 return tom095 in ecomony is it 2-4-2 or 2-3-2 many thanks, also is it possible you can tell us what the previous destination for this plane was so we can keep a check on it

As that row is by the door, there is only an obsevation port, ie it's a small window. As the seats are inwards, you can't see out of it. Seats on row 13 are as normal and therefore 13A/F are extra legroom with a window. Other seats on that row are standard. Extra legroom on row 32 are in 3's, but have the same port in the door so don't have good views. It's either a window or extra legroom.

row 12 has 5 seats 12A-E and have normal windows. 32 also has a normal window on the A and F seats
Does anyone know when the first Boeing 787 flight is with Thomson? and where it is going to and from?
