LAX2000,
The return flight is always the same aircraft as the outbound as they are reciprocal flights. LGW-BOJ-LGW (TOM4150/1) are showing as operated by a Boeing 757-200 on the aircraft schedule. The Saturday flight (TOM4574/5) is operated by a Boeing 767-304/ER. If it's now only showing 32 rows of seats, it's likely to have changed to a Boeing 737-800.

Just wondering whether we're going on an ex Thomson, or First choice on TOM194 / 195 Mcr to POP. We actually booked it through the First choice shop but think it was a Thomson brochure.
Admittedly it isnt until 14 October, but we've booked premium seats and wasnt sure if its the 2-3-2 or 2-4-2 layout. although there's 4 of us, i'd prefer to sit 2 and 2 rather than have the middle rows.
First time ever for flying long haul - 4 hours to Turkey kills me, so i am hoping that the legroom is all its cracked up to be.
many thanks Bev
It makes little difference if you've booked with First Choice or Thomson, it's the same airline (Thomson Airways) following their merger. TOM194/5 are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. Both premium cabins are 2-3-2, it's only the economy cabins that differ in terms of configuration. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Ah, thanks very much Darren.
im flying to punta cana from glasgow on the 25th june. Can you tell me where my flight will be coming from please?
Many thanks
Graeme
The aircraft (G-OBYD) operating GLA-PUJ-GLA (TOM742/3) comes in from Sanford, Orlando (TOM796/7).
Darren
Thank you. It means the aircraft will be there for 3 hrs giving some time for delays etc.
We're flying TOM4252 LGW - TFS on June 21st. Seating plan shows it as being a 738, just wondering what 738's are operating out of LGW and if any of the new ones with the Sky interior are likely to be operating this flight? Return on the 4253 on 28th...
Thanks in advance!
Welcome onboard

I'm mobile at the moment so I don't have everything to hand, but the newest 73H's weren't LGW based. They aren't much different than the standard ones though, same basic configuration. I posted the bases to Strid I think it was a couple of pages back.

I have just reserved my seats for my holiday to Turkey in September at present it is down for a 757 and have chosen 37 A & B is this a clear window view and a good seat ?
Leaving: Thomson Airways TOM836
Depart: Manchester 25/07/11 13:55
to
Arrive: Sharm El Sheikh 25/07/11 20:30
Returning: Thomson Airways TOM773
Depart: Sharm El Sheikh 05/08/11 20:35
to
Arrive: Manchester 06/08/11 01:25
Are going to be 767's as they have been previously? The seating chart looked worryingly like a 757 and I dont think I'm going to enjoy that for 5+ hours.....
Thanks in advance!
There are no B767's to SSH this year
Thats dissapointing, how come?
Seating is personal preference and they all offer the same basic facilities so it makes little difference. Row 37 has windows.
Darren
MAN-SSH-MAN (TOM836/773) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 / 737-800 (winglets) respectively. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Both these types are more than adequate for this flight. I did MAN-LXR-MAN last year on the 752 with the return being 6 hours 36 mins with the stronger than normal head wind.
Darren
The sunday flight was a 767 until bookings collapsed following the unrest and three new hotels not opening on time
Thanks very much for the info, I'm sure the aircraft will be fine, I just enjoyed the 767's IFE, and at 6'4", those extra few inches of legroom make a massive difference lol!
Seat pitch on the 757 and 737 is the same as on the short haul 767's. If anything, there's more knee-room on the 737's as they have the slimline Recaro seats fitted. The 757 on your route is currently an ex-FCA but if this changes to an ex-TOM at any stage, these also have the slimeline Recaro's.
