Hi Darren, yeah returning from Paphos today on TOM2371.
At airport now.
Regards,
Jason
Correction: TOM2731
Dazbo,
there seems to be more problems at lgw with the longhaul aircraft. inbound flight cancelled and others delayed for tomorrow, can anyone shed any light on whats happening
I'm mobile at the moment so don't have everything to hand. I assume it's the flight running a 24 hour delay you're looking in and the knock-on effects from it. I believe there was a technical problem.
Darren
Do you know what actual plane will be used this Friday on flight TOM 062 Gatwick to Cancun?
Many thanks
aprehensiveflyer,
Many thanks! I was only going to look up the plane and no doubt start fretting so probably just as well!

Could you let me know if TOM030 from LGW to MBJ on 5th April 2011 is ex Thomsonair or ex FCA.
Many Thanks
Railbob
PS your knowledge is almost encyclopedic

LGW-MBJ-LGW (TOM030/1) are currently operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-300/ER. It's a change from the ex-FCA as of last week.
Darren
Many Thanks Darren, Do you know what version of 767 it is or is it a bit early ?
Sorry, I should have said long haul 76W (283 seats). There's only one version for the long haul ex-TOM's. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). It's a been a busy afternoon so popping on and off between jobs!
Darren
Cheers Darren
Would you happen to have any idea which configuration of aircraft Thomson might use on TOM 082 Lgw-Goa on Wednesday 2/2/11 and TOM 053 Goa -Lgw on 13/2/11 -just wandered if it was 258 or 283 seats or who knows, even more...???
Many thanks,
Kate
Kate Power,
does anyone have any info on tom 030 from lgw= mbj tomorrow as its not showing, believe this is supposed to be the prior flight for tom 048 lgw- azs on wednesday.
thomson website is showing it as on time, but it is still early
the i just thought it was supposed to leave at 1000 this morning.... sorry!
Darren, a new member here and I have found reading this site most informative. I received a letter today saying my flight to Cancun from London Gatwick on 13th Feb has been amended and no longer has 33" seat pitch it is now 30" pitch. Reading this site this seems to be a common practice, Just wondering what type of plane this is, does my pre-booked seats still stand as we are family of four, what about in flight entertainment. My husband is hopping mad as he argues the brochure states 33" as standard and this is not the case and really is false advertising, any thoughts??
A few quick questions for the people in the know.
Flying MAN-PUJ on Thursday (20/1) on TOM104. Is the aircraft still going to be G-OBYJ?
Secondly, are they still suffering problems in the DR with regard to the availability of aircraft fuel? If so will the aircraft divert to refuel on the outgoing flight from MAN or on the return leg as TOM105 and how much time will this add to the journey?
Many Thanks
Fergy
Welcome onboard

Your flights are still operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER, however it is in the old short haul configuration rather than the long haul. Your pre-booked seating still stand as does everything else on your booking, it's just the aircraft configuration that has changed. I assume it's changed to an Arkfly aircraft that is covering some flights so IFE will be of the overhead variety. Under the terms and conditions of booking, the airline have the right to change the aircraft if, for example, it's due to operational reasons. I can understand your frustration, I wouldn't be too happy either but there's nothing you can do about it.
Darren
