Today i phoned Thomsons to pre book my flight for my holiday in October, i was able to book the outwards seats but not the return seats, i was told to phone back next week, is this the correct information?

Hi Paula,
We had to do the same to prebook our seats. Think you wil find that the seats for your return flight won't be loaded until next week ... hence having to phone back.

You can only book 90 days before the flight. So unless your inbound flight falls into the 90 days you will have to ring back when it does.
Yes that is correct as the others say seats can be booked via phone 90 days in advance of inbound flight. I recently phoned and thought I had got my dates right to book outbound and inbound at the same time but I was a day early for inbound 
so had to ring back the next day!!!

Regarding pre-booking of the seats, in order to do this does anyone know if the holiday balance has to have been paid in full or will they do this with a balance still outstanding?

Your balance is normally paid before the seats are released for selection but if not, are available from 90 days before by phone, 60 days online.

Balance is due 8 weeks before travel so there is about a months gap where seats are available but balance isn't paid (could really do with that extra month to pay but want to get in as early as poss with the seats!)

My seats were released and I selected both the outbound and inbound on the 3 July and my paperwork said balance was due on the 9th July. however I had already paid my balance on the 4th June.
So technically I could have selected my seats before I paid my balance. Does seem strange though.

Amenity pack stocks are once again running low. Premium cabin should receive them both ways economy not guaranteed.
I really don't understand how they can be running low again. OK it shouldn't be and isn't a deal breaker but last November the cabin crew lied and said the hadn't been loaded and on the way back they said the same thing. Then we learn it was because of the rebranding, why didn't they just say that. Far easier.
Thomson/FC know how many passengers they have, if they are going to advertise them, they should be supplied or remove them completely. One or the other.
