Flight Only / Airline and Airports

I really don't understand how they can be running low again. OK it shouldn't be and isn't a deal breaker but last November the cabin crew lied and said the hadn't been loaded and on the way back they said the same thing. Then we learn it was because of the rebranding, why didn't they just say that. Far easier.

Thomson/FC know how many passengers they have, if they are going to advertise them, they should be supplied or remove them completely. One or the other.

Couldn't agree more with you. Thomson operate the same flights each week throughout the summer season (about 7 Lh per day) so times that by 26 and order that amount of amenity packs.

I'm sure there is some complex reason why it's no ones fault in head office I would love to hear it.

Please could you tell me where this aircraft comes from before our flight?
Many thanks

TOM 2152/2153 MAN-CFU-MAN.

Loved it that much thinking of returning in September. Package has these flights.

Tracy1971,

The aircraft operating TOM196/7 operates to Punta Cana (TOM122/3) before.

Darren the new Thomson Dreamlines are due to be used January (on or about) next year so I assume these will used for long haul only? but when will you be able to book holidays, again assuming for package and then upgrade?, for these flights - do you have any idea?

I do like the look of these don't you. :cheers

There is a bit about the Dreamliner in the 'What aircraft thread'. It says in there they are expected to be doing selected flights from November 2012.

Miss Pink,

Refer to our What Aircraft? guide where I posted latest information about the arrival of the Boeing 787-800's. Further delays mean the first one won't be here until June and won't start long haul until November 2012.

Hi Darren,
Is my flight on Sunday, TOM182 still G-PJLO? & Also what flight is the plane being used for before our flight so we can keep our eyes out for delays?
Thanks ever so much! :cheers

chloe_wrench,

How do you know G-PJLO is assigned? It could be any of the ex-FCA fleet as it changes weekly. I'll only know the day before. The aircraft operates to Cancun (TOM144/5) before your flight.

so it'll definately be an ex First Choice plane?

Yes! G-PJLO operated the first TOM182/3 (MAN-HOG-MAN) of the summer season.

Hi Darren,

I am flying from LGW - Bourgas on the 26th August and I was wondering if you had any updated information on the aircraft type for flight TOM 4574, as most sites refer it to being a 767, but thomson show a 3-3 row for this aircraft, I would appreciate it if you could please find out the aircraft type?

Also what flight is the plane being used for before our flight so we can keep our eyes out for delays?

Many thanks for your help..

Browndog,

The aircraft schedule lists a Boeing 767-304/ER (short haul / winglets) as operating LGW-BOJ-LGW (TOM4574/5). G-OBYH operated the flight at the begining of July with G-OBYF and G-OBYG through June, all 76W's so I can't say why you've got 3-3 on your screen.

It may have done, but the fleet are rotated pretty much weekly so it can be any one of 6 aircraft. For example, G-OOAN (17th), G-OOBL (10th) and G-OOBM (3rd) have operated the flight so far this month.

Thanks Darren, strange when you pre-book your seats with Thomsons that it shows 3-3 row configuration.

Also what flight is the plane being used for before our flight so we can keep our eyes out for delays too?

Cheers. :tup
