essexyid,
It's only an odd flight where an aircraft has needed to be substituted at the last moment due to a technical problem. The vast majority of flights run as scheduled so I wouldn't sorry. It's a case of delaying the flight for a few hours or upwards of a day, depending on the nature of the problem and therefore delaying passengers, and subsequant passengers resulting in losing part of the holiday, or getting you away with only a minor delay but on a short haul configured aircraft. Having been subject to a 52 hour delay a few years ago (not with Thomson Airways), I know what I'd choose! Your flights are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). There isn't a specific registration allocated to your flight, the fleet is rotated weekly so I won't know until the day before. It makes little difference anyway as all but 1 are the same inside.

Hi, can someone tell me what type of aircraft will be operating TOM4714 LGW-EFL on 7/08/2011 and also our return flight TOM4404 on 18/08/2011
LGW-EFL-LGW (TOM4714/4404) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 / Airbus A321-200 respectively. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Thanks
Thanks
Denny.53 thanks for your response. Would I be correct in assuming that your hand luggage is weighed when you check in. Apologies for the daft question, it's just that I normally fly short haul (hand luggage only) where it's not weighed just have to make sure my bag is the correct size and that I can lift it into the overhead lockers.
I had my hand luggage weighed when we flew longhaul in March, but I've had it weighed on short haul as well.
The weighing of hand luggage is becoming more common, especially when travelling with hand luggage only. Passengers may try and get around paying baggages charges by putting everything in hand luggage, hence the weighing of hand luggage. If your hand luggage looks heavy, then it's likely to be weighed. If it's only a small bag and obviously under weight, then it probably won't. As long as you stay within your limits, you've nothing to worry about.
Darren
You can carry your duty free seperate from your hand luggage and I imagine as long as you don't have several carrier bags full of bottles nothing will be said.
Hi
MAN-RHO-MAN (TOM2332/3) are operated by a Boeing 767-304/ER (short haul / winglets) until 26th October. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Flying to Sharm on TOM536 23rd August. Could you please tell me where this aircraft comes in from prior to our flight.
Many thanks,
Pat
The aircraft operating LGW-SSH-LGW (TOM536/7) should be operating to Palma (TOM4230/1) before your flight.
Darren
Thank you very much Darren ....... appreciated.
hello this may have been asked already but here goes, can anyone tell me when thomson are getting any new aircraft ie the new dreamliner Beoing 787 and what airports will it be using first, off to mexico form manchester in may 2012
I think I read a few posts back that the new Dreamliner isn't entering service until August 2012.
All the latest is on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). It won't be operating long haul until November 2012 so you'll be on the usual 767-300/ER.
Darren
Getting paranoid about 767 long haul situation as my holiday in Kenya gets ever nearer - noticed that Man -Mombasa flight last night was on short haul version of the plane.Has another one of the long haul planes gone "technical"?? Really can't imagine flying for 8+ hours with my knees under my chin!!
