Hi, can anyone confirm what is going on with TOM60 today?

hxxp://flightaware.com/live/flight/TOM60

It says that there are two flights today. We are on the return TOM61 and dont want to be at the airport for hours!

Thanks

chelttown,

Welcome onboard :tup
Regardless of what's going on with a flight, you still need to be at the airport at the designated time for check-in unless otherwise advised. G-OOBM is operating the flight and it departed pretty much ontime (0935 GMT / 1035 BST so only 5 mins behind schedule) so nothing out of the ordinary that I can see at the moment.

Noticed today that TOM518 from Bristol to Cancun travelled via Manchester. Is this a consolidated flight or did it need to top up with fuel because Bristol runway isn't long enough?

Hi Darren,

Do you have the aircraft schedule through for flight TOM 4574 as I know you were working from June and July's previously and that it was a 767 so just wanted to know which aircraft is being operated in August.

Browndog,

I have the aircraft schedule for the whole of the Summer 2011 season (May-October). TOM4574/5 are still scheduled as a Boeing 767-304/ER (short haul / winglets).

123456,

What information are you looking for? When are you travelling? EMA-PUJ-EMA (TOM866/7) are currently operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi,

Going to Cancun 6/11/11 from Gatwick on TOM022 and I have been advised that it will be operated by an ex FCA 767 will it be the same for return journey 17/11/11 on TOM093 ? I need to pick seats on Saturday and wondered which 2 are a good option in premium.

Many thanks

garrydan,

Your inbound flight is operated by the same aircraft as your outbound. Seating is personal preference. All seats in premium offer the same basic facilities. Note that row 9 on the V2 aircraft doesnt have a window. You'll find a link to seat plans, aircraft and cabin photos on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi,
I'm flying out of Manchester Terminal 2 to Marrakesh on 18 August, flight TOM388 and have a few questions.

1. Does Thomson operate a 'generic' check in at MAN T2 or is there a desk for each individual flight and is it a 3 hour check in? We got caught out at Doncaster earlier this year - check in didn't open till 2 hours before the flight, don't know whether it was delayed, new Thomson policy or just Doncaster.

2. What aircraft will be used?

3. Which airport lounge would people recommend in Terminal 2, the Escape or Servisair?

Would appreciate replies to any parts of the query.

Many thanks, Caro

Caro,

MAN-RAK-MAN (TOM388/9) are operated by a Boeing 737-800 (winglets). You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). You can use any check-in desk for Thomson Airways, numbers 32-55 in T2. The recommended check-in for short haul is 2 hours, 3 hours for long haul. However, given it's a busy time or year, you may want to allow a little extra time for queues at security etc.

Hi

I am flying from Glasgow to Punta Cana on 17th September with Thomsons/First Choice, flight number TOM 742. Are you able to tell me what this aircraft would be, and if it is a TOM or ex FCA plane? Thanks!

Apologies in advance Darren but I don't have these flight numbers to hand.
Flying to FUE from EDI on October 15th and returning 22nd.....have noticed an ex Zoom 757 hanging about at Edinburgh recently.
Presuming it's a 757 we're on, are you able to confirm if this a/c will be used for this journey?.......and if so, what legroom and IFE are we to expect bearing in mind it's previous owners?

Many thanks (and previously mentioned apologies :duh ) in advance.

Its an Astreus aircraft and operates in the same config as Thomson airways 757's (233 seats) As it operates as a wet lease for Thomson it should have the same IFE, all of Astreus aircraft have IFE capability(overhead monitors, same as Thomson's 757). Meals and the onboard drinks range will be the same.

Hi Darren,

Found the IFE for long haul flights for July/August, but can't find it for short/mid haul flights .... or is it under my nose!

Pat

No, I didn't get it when I was given the long haul IFE.
