Miss Pink, having flown in "extra legroom" on both 737-300s and 737-800s have to agree with aidoair - much better in 737-800, its genuine extra room! I'm 6' 4" but had plenty of knee room.
We actually complained to Thomson re the description of extra legroom in row 12 on 737-300 - it is only a matter of a couple of centimetres more than standard, yet we paid ~ £80 extra - the flight crew agreed with us - but we got absolutely nowhere with our complaint!!

£80 wow thats expensive - lets hope that it is the 737 800 then
thanks once again Darren you are a Star.

Hi, I'm sorry if this has already been asked in the last few months...I have checked back a bit but I'm new to the forum.
I wonder if anyone has any information about what planes are flying to Aruba from London Gatwick this summer with First Choice. The flight No's are -TOM 024 (outbound) and TOM 025 (return). Thanks.

Welcome onboard
Your flights, LGW-AUA-LGW (TOM024/5) are operated by former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Is anybody else having problems selecting their seats online?
For the past week or so, the system is telling me that it can't find the booking. Prior to that it told me that it was too early to book the seats

Thanks Darren for your quick response...no2blues
Mark,
I did mine the other week no problem at all. When is it you're travelling? The flights may not be available for online seat selection yet if its more than 60 days away.

Hi
A quick question regarding premium cabin pre-booked seating.
I am flying to Florida on TOM168 MAN-SFB on Aug 7th 2012 returning 3 weeks later on TOM169.
My question is do I have to wait until 90 days before my return before I can select my seats on the phone and if so does this not give passengers travelling for 2 weeks an extra week to select their outbound seats before I can select mine?
Cheers,
digitrac

digitrac,
Welcome onboard
I've always been able to select seats 90 / 60 days (phone / online) from the number of days from the outbound flight and selected seats for both the outbound and inbound sectors at the same time, but others have had a different experience. You can only give them a call or wait until it's available online and see.

Hi Dazbo,
We are flying on the TOM494 on Fri 9th LGW- Sharm el Sheikh. Are you still able to advise where the flight is coming in from beforehand?
Thanks!

Hi Darren
Should be an easy one for you this time. TOM 162 (Manchester to Pueto Plata) 15th March should be an ex First Choice according to the seating plan but where does it come in from? I guess the beers will be on me during the post flight three hour coach trip as a thanks for all the help you've given in the past

LisaMJ,
Friday 9th March? There isn't a flight immediately before it. The aircraft only operates LGW-SSH-LGW (TOM494/5) that day.

baz657,
It is an easy one since I'll be on the flight with you!! Are you off to Cayo Levantado too since you mention the 3 hour coach trip? Don't forget 10 minutes on the boat across to the island as well! The aircraft normally night stops and doesn't operate a flight immediately beforehand. Beers will be on the menu well before the coach ride, try 45 minutes after take-off!
See you 2 weeks on Thursday

Thanks for that Darren. 2 weeks on Thursday it is!
Go easy on the beers though - I don't fancy diving off the boat to rescue you if you fall overboard
