G-OBYD has this not been on the Man/LCA sunday am TOM2700 for the past weeks?? if so what will replace it?
Reply
qatarman,

MAN-LCA-MAN (TOM2700/1) are scheduled to be operated by Boeing 767-300/ER between 27/05/12 - 07/10/12. There are other aircraft (76W's) in the fleet to cover this route.

My parents are due to fly EMA-CUN this Sunday 17th June, Does anybody know the reg of the aircraft due to be used yet ? As trying to decided whether to wait around and take some pictures if one of the 767s I have not seen before.

uno28,

It's too early to know for sure, I'll know tomorrow. Assuming no changes to aircraft rotations, the aircraft should be operating TOM392/3 (NCL-CUN-NCL) today, TOM676/7 (EMA-SFB-EMA) on Saturday then TOM586/7 on Sunday so G-OOBK is the likely aircraft, but this may change.

Hi gang, after getting our suitcases out from the loft i decided that they looked a little tired and decided to replace them...
After a little trip to argos i purchased 4 new abs cases, small, medium, medium (but a little bigger) and large.
Now, the large case is whopper 177litre H88, W65, D38cm... great for all the wifes shoes lol..
But after compairing this with the old cases which are more like the larger medium size new one, i am worried that it might be to big for the hold???
Have paid extra for us all to have 20kg and i have some scales to way each case, there is no info i can find on maximum size hold luggage! just info on the weights.
Should i change this case for the smaller one?

Chrisweaving,
I think you may be ok as long as your not
a) over your baggage limit and
b) within the airlines baggage weight lifting limit for its crew / ground staff,

if you think its too big then change it now, also think of how you're going to get it into the car ? another think to think of is that when women see a bigger case, they think they can take more to fill the space in it !!!

go with the same size you had but new cases - simples :cheers

Hi Darren, or any of the other experts.
If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me the registration and aircraft type that is operating TOM2676 to Las Palmas today (16.6.12) please.
There are relatives onboard so wanted to take pictures of its departure from the (very wet!) visitors park. There were a number of TOM departures while I was there so wanted to keep photos of the correct one.
Thanks guys.

edit: This is from MAN.

jmac,

It was SE-RFS (Tuifly Nordic 76W).

The TUIFly Nordic was the very last pic I took before calling it a day. Not the best day for them to be delayed, weather wise!
Thanks mate, have a good weekend.

Hi Darren When I click on "Current IFE listing: May / June 2012" it takes me to a page from 2011

Not sure if its me or the site?

jonboywirral,

That's just the page the original post was made. Rather than create a new post every 2 months and have to update the link, I just edit the post with the new IFE listing, hence the thread title changes to the current month / year even though it's on a page from 2011. I know it can be a little confusing if you look at the original date (just ignore that!), but it's easier than having to create a new post every time. The IFE listed from that link is current (May / June). I'll update it at the beginning of July with the July / August.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but I just found 'The Eatery' menu on the Thomson site. I'm afraid I can't post links so will have to do instructions instead.

If you go onto the Thomson site and search for 'In flight food', then click onto the 'Thomson Holidays - Flights - In Flight Food and Entertainment' link, and on that page is a link to a pdf version of 'The Eatery' inflight menu. I'm guessing this link will be updated with the new version each season like its inflight magazine. I wondered if you wanted to add the link to the What Aircraft? part of the site Darren.

Fly21,

A link to the menu is already on our What Aircraft? guide in a more basic form than the pdf. Thanks though.
