Hi all

There are 2 Thomson flights into Manchester tomorrow morning-(169 from Cancun and 123 from Orlando Sandford). The Cancun flight is scheduled to land on time however the other one has at least a 4 hour delay.

We fly to Cancun tomorrow morning(hopefully). Any idea what flight will return to Cancun the one inbound from Cancun or the delayed one from Sandford? I am sure you can guess which i am hoping for!!

Thanks

A third aircraft positioned into Manchester to operate either Varadero or Cancun tomorrow so it 'wont' be delayed unless there are any further tech probs

Thanks BeFree. Would you know if the 3rd aircraft is an ex FCA or Thomson?

Thanks Dazbo -I was just worried that they may have switched the schedule and we would be delayed. Hopefully between both of you with your wealth of info you have put my mind at ease.

Its much appreciated

Hi, hope somebody can help please. I am travelling with thomsons in October from Doncaster robin hood airport to faro Portugal. I have booked extra leg room seats but been advised that to use these seats I must be able to use the seatbelt provided with no extender belt. I have flown many times with other airlines and though sometimes the belts are a squeeze I have never had to request an extender belt. Does anyone know which plane will be used and the length of the seatbelts in the extra legroom seats?

Thanks in advance.

Newty17,

Welcome onboard :tup
Please quote flight numbers when requesting aircraft information as there are multiple flights. This ensures we get the correct information for you. DSA-FAO-DSA ( assuming TOM3414/5?) are operated by Boeing 737-800. These have standard seat bealts fitted that are approximately 36 inches long. If you've never had a problem before, you won't on this aircraft. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi,

can anyone help me out and tell me which type of aircraft will be used for Manchester - Palma (TOM 2170 departs 1900 on August 13th), returning Palma - Manchester (TOM 2171 departs 2350 on August 20th) ?

Does anyone one how long the Tuifly Nordic airplane will operate for TOM (until the end of summer 2012 season?)

Thanks in advance,

SeekingFCA,

MAN-PMI-MAN (TOM2170/1) are operated by Boeing 767-300/ER (328Y / short haul).

SE-RFS (76W) is in the UK on lease until the end of October.

Thanks a lot, Darren.

By the way, where is SE-RFS based ? Is there a chance that one of my flights will be flown with that one ?
Does it rotate along with the two other short haul 767's or is it used for specific routes ?

SeekingFCA,

MAN mainly although it does move around as needed. Particular aircraft aren't assigned to specific flights, aircraft are rotated regularly. It makes little difference if you're on that aircraft or not as it has the same interior as the other aircraft. It came from the UK fleet originally.

Just came in to say that I've just come back from the Dom Rep. I flew out on the 29th and I was looking forward to watching Chronicle .... but the July listings were early :( So I had to settle for Safe House which was a decent replacement!

Hi Darren,

Are you able to tell me what plane it will be for my flight in Nov please, or am I still to early?
V1 or V2, ex-FC?

MAN-CUN-MAN
07.11.12 - TOM196
21.11.12 - TOM197

Thanks.

cagzy,

MAN-CUN-MAN (TOM196/7) should be ex-FCA V2, but I'll be able to confirm closer to the time. Other than the location of the overwing exit row and the position of a few seats, there's no real difference between the V1 and V2 aircraft. There's only 1 out of 6 in the V1 so chances are, it'll be V2.

Wow, thanks for very quick response Darren!!

I've ended up booking premium, so am I right in assuming it's 9 rows with no window in row 9?

Thanks.

Hi cagzy,

We booked row 9 ( middle 3) when went went to Aruba 2 years ago. The 2 seats to the right (from what I recall) had no window, to the left it did. This year we were going to take a chance and book 9A & B, but have been told that should the aircraft be change for operational reasons, there is a small change that the aircraft could be switched to a Thomson flight which only has 5 rows in premium, meaning that we would be bumped into Economy, but still receive the perks of premium. With this in mind we decided to book seats 3A and B which has a full window not shared.

Regards,
Pat

cagzy,

That's correct, no window on row 9 in the V2.

That's great, thanks for that Pat.

I will myself try and book seats 3A and B as I like that there is a full window. Thanks for that info.

Darren - thanks for confirming.
