MAZ1406,
LGW-CUN-LGW (TOM022/49) are operated by former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. What seat plan have you been looking at? There are two different configurations, V1 and V2. I suspect you've been looking at the V1 configuration where row 14 are standard economy seats (it's row 11 that are bulkhead on the V1). The one you want is the V2, linked from our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Row 14 seats A/B and F/G are bulkhead (extra legroom) on the V2 aircraft.

gbailey141,
It'll be a Boeing 757-200 or Boeing 737-800. I won't know either way until November.

Thanks for your prompt reply Darren, I will ask a bit nearer the time.
I've just read on another forum that Thomsons weighed people's hand luggage just before they got on the plane and the poster was charged excess baggage.
Has anyone else experienced this?
So that seems to mean that anything you buy after security such as sandwiches, water or magazines will all count in your 5kg?

BethR,
Are you sure that wasn't in relation to airlines like Ryanair and Easyjet? It's common for hand luggage to be weighted at check-in with Thomson Airways, but I've never had it weighted at the boarding gate with them. Checks on hand luggage is common at the boarding gate with airlines that offer online check-in as those travelling with hand luggage only won't be checked until they get to the gate. Those in excess of their limits may have to place bags in the hold and incur a charge with those airlines. Thomson will be bringing online check-in in at some point so are likely to follow suit. At the moment though, I've never experienced any checks at the boarding with them as it's done at check-in. That's not to say if you've gone mad at duty free you won't be questioned if you have several bags from each hand!
As long as you are within you baggage limit, you've nothing to worry about.

It's usually chicken in tarragon sauce veg with roast potatoes or a beef stroganoff/stew with mash. The veggie option is pasta with cheese sauce.
Hot English breakfast before landing
Homeward is
Roast chicken dinner
Lamb stew with rosemary gravy and potatoes
Chunky veg chilli
Then a hot cheese and onion panini and jam/cream scone..
Let the crew know early on if your vegetarian as there are not many of the veg options per flight. And if you are allergic to anything pm me and I'll check the ingredients for you. Also, very rarely the meals can be substitutted
Onboard so don't be too disappointed if you don't get offered one of the choices above

chriskim,
MAN-CUN-MAN (TOM196/7) are operated by former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. I won't know the registration until the afternoon of the day before. It makes little difference in any case as all but 1 are identical inside. The aircraft operates to Cancun (TOM122/3) beforehand. G-PJLO is likely but that can change between now and your flight.

Hi Darren,
Thanks for the swift and helpful reply as ever.
I know it doesn't really matter which actual plane it is but its always nice to know the reg beforehand. We haven't been on Thomson/Firstchoice longhaul for a couple of years is it right that the ex first choice planes have had a refit inside to the dark blue leather like the Thomson ones and do they still have those remote controls on a cable for the IFE or are they now touch screen like the Thomson ones.
Thanks again for your help.

chriskim,
Some of the aircraft have been refurbished, but it's only the leather colour that's different.
