Thanks BY-TOM-AMM-FCA, i thought the thomson premium were 2-4-2 we flew home from Dominican Republic on one with premium having less seats, so wrongly assumed all thomson planes the same

Thomsons 767s are all the same in premium, 2-3-2, whether they're ex FCA or ex Thomsonfly. They have been since they introduced a premium service.

No sunaddict i flew home from dominican republic on a thomson 767 2-4-2 seating plan think there was a problem with the originally planned plane. it didnt have as many premium seats than the ex first choice we flew out on, there were ructions because some folk booked into premium had to fly home in economy

The ex Thomsonfly don't have as many premium seats, but they are configured 2-3-2 in premium. Links to all the seatplans are in Darrens 'What Aircraft' page. They also have the short haul configured 767s which are 2-4-2 throughout, without a premium cabin.

yes i looked them up, just asked the friend i flew home with she said the same. the plane was a lot more cramped, the in flight entertainment didnt work, wasnt the best of flights home but we still had the 2 window seats and in premium

If your sat in a cabin with 2-4-2 on Thomson Airways then your not in premium. It would of been a short haul configured 767, which naturally has less room.

Hi there,

Flying on the Dreamliner, Manchester to Cancun on 1st January, does anyone know if Thomson supply headphones or an amenity pack in economy.

Thanks

Sunaddict and BY-TOM-AMM-FCA, apologies if i have got it wrong its got me thinking now.
we flew home on G-OBYH which does look like premium has the first five rows 2-3-2.
have only just realised its the same plane G-OBYH a group of us flew to lanzarote on in august this year, we had rows 7,8 and 9 , 2-4-2 seat plan on the lanzarote flight . none of our group remember seeing 2-3-2 in front of us.
G-OBYH is a 767-304ER.
i am baffled lol

jhe,

The aircraft are often configured differently in summer and winter due to different demands. Some of the 767 fleet are configured for short haul in an all economy configuration for the summer season with 328 seats, then a lower density configuration for the winter for long haul with 283. Details are on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Irene67,

Headphones are supplied, but no amenity packs.

If you require any amenity items though, ask the crew. A Small quantity are loaded for on demand requests near the back galley such as toothbrush, eye shades and socks. It was changed as uptake was very low in economy and cleaners reporting in excess of 50% were left onboard untouched on average.

Thanks Darren & By Tom.

It was the headphones I was really bothered about, I must have been 1 of the 50% in economy who never bothered with the amenity pack ;)

Boeing 757-800 extra legroom seats.
Are there any advantages/disadvantages between rows 15 and 16.
Flying MAN -SSH TOM784 in March.
Thanks in advance!

I believe row 15 seats don't recline -row 16 do.

cilan537,

I think you mean the Boeing 737-800? As brewerdave mentions, the only difference between the extra legroom rows 15 and 16 is row 15 doesn't recline due to there being an emergency exit behind. Row 16 does with having standard seats behind. You'll find extensive aircraft information including a seat plan and aircraft / cabin photos linked from our What Aircraft? guide (link below).
