I had the same problem emmacat and left my whirly wheel running all night. The answer was to log in to

georgep1311,
welcome onbaord
It's too early to be sure what aircraft type will be used. Which airport are your looking at flying from? I need at least some flight details to work with when looking up flights. The 737-800 fleet is mixed the newer deliveries have the sky interior installed, some of the older ones don't. The fleet is rotated regularly so there's no telling this far out which specific aircraft are based where.

georgep1311,
TOM626/859 are normally operated by Boeing 737-800 but I won't know for certain until later in the year.

MAN-LCA-MAN (TOM2700/1) are operated by Boeing 767-300/ER (short haul).

Hi Darren
Just booked this flight but the seating plan is showing as 2-3-2 with 40 rows.
Any idea which Thomson 767 Short Haul this is? I thought the first choice 767's were the ones with the config 2-3-2 and I wasn't aware they were using these?
Thanks

Does anyone know if Premium Class passengers will be able to use the Fast Track through security at Gatwick this year as last.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes , they can use FT at security , in my experience though it is no significantly different to the other lanes , so many people qualify for FT and airline agents do sticker boarding cards with FT for passengers who travel with BA and Emirates in economy if they have status , plus those who book the No1 lounge also get FT , so in the end it's not really quicker than the other lanes for these reasons
The only saving grace is that it's tucked away at the left hand side as you approach the security gates so not everyone sees it ( towards zone A)
Thanks for that Andy. We must have been lucky last year as we were the only couple in Fast Track at the time.
IMHO under the new ownership the customer experience at Gatwick has improved quite a bit and even the regular security lines have flowed well in our experience.

Hi Jetlagged , they do tend to put really good staff on premium lane , and I have gone through there very quickly at times., but other times there has been a queue .
A lot can hinge on whether you are travelling at peak periods like early mornings and school holidays .
The new owners have worked hard at trying to improve the total customer experience , they are wanting to make the airport better and have certainly improved it from the days of BAA ownership by way of investment .
Hope you have a good holiday and a pleasant airport experience !!

...I managed to check in via my work PC without a hitch, I think the problem may lie with the browser in use as whilst using ipad on safari it was impossible to load the boarding passes, whilst internet explorer on PC absolutely fine....hope this helps others in a similar quandary
z.j.c,
Yes, but I can't provide an answer as yet. The remaining ex-FCA 763's will have left the fleet by then leaving the ex-TOM only. These are 2-4-2, not 2-3-2.

petaraven,
Row 6 are standard premium club seats. The toilets are behind 6G/J and there are no restrictions although the seats on the right hand side of the cabin have slightly less seat recline than others in the cabin. Further details are linked from our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Will be selecting our seats very soon to Dominican Republic on the Dreamliner from Manchester. I have seen talk about two different seat pitches in economy (apart from the extra legroom seats), I have read that although they advertise 34" pitch that actually there are a number that are only 33" pitch. Does anyone know which rows are the the 33" and which are the 34". My understanding is that the first four rows in economy are the extra legroom seats at 36" pitch.
Would like to have booked the premium but have already paid for the privilege of just flying on the Dreamliner and the holiday was way more than originally planned so upgrading is not an option.
Many thanks
