Hello
I was wondering if you could please advise as to what type of plane will be used on flight Thomson Airways TOM2300 Manchester to Fuerteventura on Wed 10-Sep-2014 15:10
Returning:TOM2301 24-Sep-2014 20:55
Am stressing already over which seats to book for myself and my partner and our (then) three year old. any tips would be most appreciated x

emmar75,
MAN-FUE-MAN (TOM2300/1) are operated by Boing 757-200. Seating is very much personal preference. Other than extra legroom / space seats, they all offer pretty much the same experience. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

I have even checked Rhodes arrivals for the 25th, 26th & 27th of August 2009 and there are no GLA flights having landed there
Hi I'm travelling man/ace 30th june on tom2126 can you advise what aircraft type this will be. Thanks
ello Darren
Finally sorted out all my things and herself decided we just had to go back to Barcardi Beach/island so booked it this week flying out 30th June. Dreamliner (finally! but hope the batteries don't melt) flight TOM 156. Am I right in thinking incoming flight of said aircraft should be TOM 137 from Montego Bay?
Still seem to be quite a few seats available (but not 33 J & H) for late bookings again if you're all up for it....

Hi Baz,
How's things? Glad you got things sorted. Enjoy the 787, you'll have to report back your findings. The inbound is indeed TOM136/7 from MBJ. I'd be more than up for going back to Cayo Levantado but the others are off to NYC on the 30th and I've just got back from Rhodes so need to earn some tokens for the next trip!
Have a good one
Darren
PS don't forget to check the trailer before setting off. Watch for wheels falling off, pack some grease just in case!!

Has anyone else noted that this select your seat is not correct it say "90 days from return flight" but when trying to book seats i note some are already booked?? to be told that 7 day holidays have booked them, unless i am dumb 7 or 14 makes no difference its 90 days from the return flight date? Can someone try to explain.
Hi
I'm travelling on 24/11/14 on tom112 and back on 8/12/14 tom113(I'm assuming that's the right number) man-puj-man
Just wondering what aircraft will be used on it? I'm keeping everything crossed for the Dreamliner, I understand they're due to take delivery of more this year?
Thanks in advance.

Rockhopper88,
Welcome onboard
your flights should be 787 operated but I'll check when I get home. You'll find extensive aircraft information including 787 destinations on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

for example if you were flying to Mexico on 4th September for 2 weeks the select your seat is available to book around the 20th June. i.e. 90 days before your homeward flight.
If you were going on 4th September for 1 week the select your seat would have been available to book yesterday the 13th June for your homeward flight.
People going for 3 weeks (and spending a lot more with Thomson) are at a real disadvantage as they can't book until 27th June.

Hi Denny thank you for the explanation however if we are all on the same flight home ie 14 September then 90days is the same for all regardless of your travel out day, which would mean the seat booking should be open for all on the 17 June. Or is this not the way it works?
Yes I understand what you mean and yes it should work like you say shouldn't it?
The way I explained is the way I worked it out but now you've confused me (not difficult LOL) does anyone else know different?

The way you explained it was correct Denny. People who go for a shorter duration have access to the outbound seating plan first.
It is all very confusing
and I believe Thomsons are thinking of changing the 90 day rule, but to what I don't know.

You should be able to select your seats as soon as you have a confirmed booking.
It should be 'free' (but factored into the cost) then it would stop the 100's of complaints on the Thomson Facebook page re kids being seated away from their parents because they haven't paid extra to select their seats.

I don't agree. It shouldn't be factored into the cost. Lot's of people don't mind where they sit, so why should they have to pay for it in the price of the ticket, just to appease people that don't consider sitting together to be important enough to pay for, but then proceed to moan? Having a base price and being able to add the bits you want is far better IMO. That way everyone has the option to choose what they add.
If sitting together is important to people, then they should factor it into the cost of the ticket or holiday themselves when comparing prices, the same as they would with extra legroom, extra luggage and upgrades etc
