Thanks, that's great. Struggling to find a guide on the better seats but at least I know which plane to look for now.

Thanks again.

hcafc_laura,

Seating is personal preference. Apart from extra legroom seating, all seats offer the same basic facilities and seat pitch so it's whatever you prefer really. There are 4 rows with no windows so if that's essential, avoid the rear of the front cabin, the last row and rows 12-16.

Thanks, I did want to make sure we had a window. Now just to avoid the toilets and any drafty areas. There is not much choice left anyway, only around 10 rows to choose from.

what page TOM-AMM-FCA posted the seat preferences on

Hi jackmax - I couldn't find it either after looking for a long time.
However - I've just found

http://www.seatplans.com/airlines/Thomson-Airways/seatplan-classes/B767-300-11-Long-haul

Which says it shows edited notes from a cabin crew member previously posted on Holiday Truths.
And - here it is!!

Thanks for that, I know I'd seen it somewhere else. I spent an hour trying to find it this morning and failed.

I am flying from Cardiff to Enfidha on the 29th June and back on the 6th July, flight no. TOM864 - 865. I would like to know what aircraft will be operating this route.

I noticed that a TCX 763 operated a service from Enfidha to Cardiff today then went on to Manchester, i'm guessing this was a shared flight before thomson airways starts using its own aircraft for this route from Cardiff,

kiltman,

They're one in the same. I'm at Manchester Airport at the moment but if you go to Thomsons website, it's all on there. Good luck trying to get charity baggage! You may need to prove the charity you are taking things for.

Thanks Darren I will take a look, hopefully they will oblige as it is one of their ex employees that runs the charity :tup

chloe,

Welcome onboard :tup
Your flights are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Thanks BefreeTODAY do you know if its one of the newer ones that were delivered a few months back?
Reply
tabbycat,

Specific aircraft are rotated regularly for operational reasons and maintenance so it's imposable to say this far out which one it will be. There are 16 737-800's (12 are the newer 73H's) in the fleet currently with a new arrival scheduled for delivery this month (G-FDZX), and the next 2 in October. They're all relatively new with the same interiors (apart from the 4x 738's) so it makes little difference if it's 2 months old or 2 years.
