Hi, we have driven to the vendee twice in the passed and stayed at La Yole and Les Biches. Both times we used Canvas for our holiday and had great times. I am thinking of making the trip again this summer. Thats me, the wife, a 14 yr old daughter and 10 yr old lad. Has anybody got any views on Siblu or Keycamp, or got any recommendations for sites. We fancy one that has stuff going on to entertain the kids, and a good pool area is a must.
Any tips will be gratefully received.
For quality Siblu is superior to Keycamp which is part of the Eurocamp empire as is Canvas
Although we don't use them due to tugging our own caravan We use Camping Cheques the company also do something called Holiday Cheques which open up a lot of different sites to you - worth a look if nothing else

We stayed at La Prairie twice a few years back. Not far from the beach and not in a large town so not crowded. Just a couple of miles North of St Hilaire.

Do you mean Ma Prairie in Canet ???? we stop there most years

We have booked to stay at Camping Les Biches near St. Hilaire. Been there before and had a great time, so we decided to return.
HI. I CAN RECOMMEND LE PALMYRE NEAR ROYAN. ITS AN EXTRA 2 HOURS DRIVE FOR BETTER CLIMATE BUT IS WELL WORTH IT I.M.H.O. THERES GOOD ENTERTAINMENT ON SITE FANTASTIC POOL COMPLEX WITH 3 GREAT WATERSLIDES WE WENT WITH CANVAS LAST YEAR AND ONLY FOUND THIS SITE AS CANVAS HAD PULLED OUT OF LE BOIS MASSON (ST JEAN DE MONTS)WHICH AS OUR ORIGINAL DESTINATION.
