Me and my fiance discovered Greece a couple of years ago and absolutely love it.
So far we have stayed in Kalamaki(Zante) and Pefkos(Rhodes), we enjoyed these resorts as they had just the right amount of nightlife for us with a good selection of Restaurants and bars without being a mecca for the 18-30 brigade and a nice beach to relax on in the daytime.
If anyone can recommend any similar resorts we would be most grateful.We are planning on going at the beginning of September so want somewhere that will still be hot.

you could try Pythagorion on Samos a little bit busier than Pefkos but not the 18-30 shower more families

We like plenty of restautants and some bars for the evenings, and beaches for the day - so these resorts may suit you too. Enjoy deciding!

Thanks again for the suggestions, we also quite like the look of Tingaki on Kos but a friend of ours said it is likely to be quite breezy in September which is putting the better half off
Pythagorion much nicer than Pefkos. How about Skiathos .... wonderful island. Stay in Skiathos Town or just on the outskirts.
Diamond have to agree about pythagorion and pefkos, pefkos has been spoilt by to much building in last few years
how about Skala in Kefalonia, or as Diamond says, Skiathos. Even in the most outlying resort on Skiathos you are no more than a 30 minute bus ride from the great nightlife of Skiathos town.........and the beaches are gorgeous too. We are going back again in september
