I dont know if this will be much help, but my son (5) and I took £400 GBP (plus the money for the hire car CYP£150) and I came home with £1.50
and this was for 11 nights and we were self catering. Dont drink a great deal, and put the safari trip onto the credit card but we didnt go without, ate well and had what we wanted....I think its possible to spend as little as you want to if you are careful, this is the least Ive spent while being away (hire car excluding of course).
Are you self catering? and are you in the main part? I think if you were paying out for taxis, trips etc then it may be tight, but if you are going for a beach holiday then you dont need much anyway...I was surprised that I didnt need to dip into some more money.....
Hope you have a great time, the weather is fab right now!

Hi Karen, yes self catering, we wont do much really, just eat drink and be merry! we wont get razzled everynight so wont spend much on booze, i just cannot wait
Are you going for a week or two ?
As a cost comparison, we go to Cyprus every year for two weeks, and as a family of four generally take around £1200 sterling and usually come back with a little, very little, we normally stay on a B&B basis. We dont normally hire a car or go on trips, just laze around the pool.
I dont know if the prices have changed much since last year, but I would say as long as your careful you should be OK.
Have a fantastic holiday and enjoy yourselves.

We are a family of four, and for two weeks we take £15000 to spend for the fortnight.
That Includes Car Hire, Trip to the Ayia Napa Waterpark, Funfair, Boat Trip to Famagusta and cape Greko........ and eating out every night.
