On a recent visit to Canada, my husband and I took our four children to visit Niagara Falls. We incorporated it with a stay at Great Wolf Lodge, which was about a ten minute drive from the Falls.
Great Wolf Lodge is ideal for families as it combines large family rooms with a huge indoor water park. Having spent a few hours at Niagara Falls and taken the obligatory tour in a Maid of the Mist boat, we arrived at the hotel to spend time chilling out, with the plan to return to the Falls the following day.
The waterpark was so much fun, that we never made it back to the falls the following day; instead we spend a second day in the waterpark. It was clean, fun, and suitable for all ages and it was this, not the Falls, that became the highlight of the visit for the children.
