we go to egypt every year and with out a doubt this is the best holiday and hotel we have stayed in so far and we have stayed in all areas of egypt
it certainly has the best food and was semi deserted which meant no sun bed wars
only down side was a lot of mosquitos which is unusual in november and english sprays are useless but the local OFF spray solved the problem
quite windy as its a water sport centre which meant not sweaty in fact a near perfect climate

We spent two weeks at the Dahabeya having found a really cheap package with Portland Direct. Having learnt to dive up the coast in Nuweiba up the coast, many people had told us to go back to Dahab to enjoy the more advanced diving there. We had originally intended to stay in one of the two or three star hotels in town, but we were chuffed to find a good AI deal at the Dahabeya at the last minute.

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute taxi ride away from Dahab (which is split into three small areas, Mashraba, Masbat and Assalah). The hotel runs a courtesy bus into town and back again three times a day, but local taxis cost between 10LE - 20LE depending on time of day and where you want to go (around

A wonderful hotel, staff caring helpful and attentive, rooms clean and comfortable fanastic bathrooms. Great location with bar on beach,hotel well laid out gardens and pool looking great. Al excellent service from staff so friendly couldnt do enough for guests. Entertainment was fun and the lads did the best they could... lots of laughs.. l consider the only point to mention was the food my hubby and l could find something every night/lunch to eat, there were some themed lunches/nights such as chinese, etc.. but often the food was only warm.. but on the whole okay...chefs very friendly would cook pasta at lunchtimes/evening meals or omletes and eggs at breakfast hotel had a good mix of guests from around EU

Travelled to this hotel middle june and thought we had landed in paradise. The hotel is of excellent standard. The staff are all very friendly and cannot do enough to ensure your stay is an excellent one. The room we stayed in was large and of very high standard with regards to cleanliness. Food was excellent with a large choice and variety. People were complaining regards the food no chips etc but as far as we were concerned you want chips you go to a european destination. There was a different themed night every evening and the waiters dressed accordingly to the theme. They were extremely hard working and always pleasant. Will definately be returning.
