We stayed here for a 2 night break as visiting the National War Memorial.
My room consisted of a large double bed, TV, iron and trouser press, tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom was a good size with bath and overhead shower, hairdryer, & hot towel rail if needed.
We were bed and breakfast and the food was really nice. It's buffet style so you can help yourself to fresh juices, cereals, toast etc. There's a hot plate with tasty sausage, bacon, fresh tomatoes, black pudding, hash browns, scrambled/fried eggs, mushrooms etc. There's an evening meal option which is available at the hotel for extra but we didn't take advantage of this.
The hotel was very clean no problems there.
Location is a off the beaten track a little as it's a golfing hotel and is set in the grounds of the golf course.
There isn't any entertainment at the hotel. There's a bar upstairs which has piped music.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. I had a few minor problems on arrival with room allocation, then 3 of my lamps bulbs weren't working but they were dealt with swiftly.
Would stay here again.
