I really can't speak too highly of these cottages! I should begin by saying this will only appeal to you if you enjoy peace and tranquillity,but if that's what you're looking for,you're in for a treat!
There are 5 (I think) cottages of different sizes,there is no longer a farm, the cottages are all within a large barn conversion, apart from the smallest one, which if I remember rightly is situated in what was the shepherds cottage.
The cottages are at the end of a dead end lane,next to a packhorse bridge.
The interior of our cottage (the wastwater cottage) was of a high standard,appropriate furnishings,good kitchen facilities,plenty of utensils,full oven/cooker,washing machine,clothes horse,fridge/freezer,iron and ironing board,plenty of cupboard space.
The bedrooms were lovely,ample bedding. 2 bathrooms.
Each cottage has it's own part of the large,enclosed garden,with table and chairs,there are steps leading down to the stream and a lovely little picnic area next to the water.
There is allocated parking for each cottage which is shown on a map. There's also a drying room with 3 tumble dryers.The entertainment ratings don't really apply,but I've put 5 because the surroundings were 5 star! More info on UK post in Discussion Forum.
