For a business traveler who gets to frequently stay in numerous hotels around the southwest, this place really stood out on many levels. Friendly staff at reception and in the bistro couldn't have been more helpful and genuine.
My room was smart, clean and surprisingly contemporary with flat screen TV and a jaw-dropping view from the window spanning across the river Dart to Kingswear. I didn't use the pool and spa area, although I did take a peep around and the facilities looked impressive with treatment rooms and a blissful sense of calm about the place. Next time I'm defo packing my swimming costume!
