If you require a cramped room in an intimidating and rough area this will suit you.
Would not venture from hotel after dark, no facilities , in fact unless your required to be at the Excell centre ,give it a miss.

2nd recent review of this hotel. I stayed there last night and found it to be a good value for money hotel.
The hotel itself is clean and modern, I asked for a quiet room - if you had a room by the lifts it could be noisy.
My double room was small but comfy and clean, strange bathroom layout - sink is in the room and toilet and shower are both separate - one big walk in shower room!(excellent power shower)
The chaps on reception were very helpful and friendly. There is a good pub, a chinese, indian and steak bar and a health club next door (
