We stayed on Half Board basis, the evening meal was buffet style with a wide and verying, by evening, choice available. Whilst there was a lot of choice, a lot of the menu was repeated night in / night out.
The hotel was spotless - from well polished marble floors of the reception through to the poolside areas.
The location was fabulous for a younger family or couples holiday - 15 mins walk from Georgioupolis and a good 20 mins taxi from the nearest nightclub.
The staff were, as I have always found with the Greeks, very friendly.
The entertainment was generally undertaken by the kids club staff - so more enthusiastic than top quality - however, some acts were brought in and on the whole the entertainment was perfect for the family.
We do not go back to places we have visited as it seems a waste to see the same place over and over again - however, we will make an exception with the Pilot Beach as it was a fantastic place to chill out, let the kids play, soak up the sunshine and re-charge the batteries.
