Great location on the edge of Victoria Park and 3 minute walk to Tin Hau MTR station.

Bedrooms were a decent size with great harbour views (most rooms have same views I think). Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

Hotel has its own bar (Vic's) which is fine if you cant be bothered going too far after a hectic day in HK but there are certainly better bars out there !

Staff were courteous and attentive.

Rooftop swimming pool is great if it is a humid day.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would recommend it. The room was a good size, modern and very clean. The view over the harbour was great, I could sit at the dressing table and just enjoy the view. The swimming pool on the roof was wonderful. The breakfasts were excellent lots of choice, including chinese, English food and fresh fruit. It was buffet style so you could help yourself to as much as you liked. The evening meal was also buffet style and very nice, but didn't really cater for vegetarians, so we only went there once. Although they did have a separate menu you could order off. Food wasn't too expensive for a hotel. We went for a special birthday and the hotel gave me a birthday cake.

We found a really good vegetarian restaurant on the other side of Victoria Park called Kung Tak Lam, which was very good and reasonable.

We liked the location of the hotel. Hong Kong is very busy day and night and this hotel is just outside the really busy areas, but close enough to not be a problem. Public Transport in Hong Kong is very cheap and efficient. There is a double decker tram which runs along the main street in Hong Kong island, this is a great way to see Hong Kong and you can get on this just outside the hotel. Also underground station is just by the hotel. You can put some money on an Octopus card and then you can just swipe the card to use all of the public transport including buses, trams, underground and ferries. You can use cash, but you dont get change and the octopus card is easier.

There is a lot to see in Hong Kong and it is a shame most people only see it for 1-2 nights as a stop over. I would definitely recommend going up the peak during and the day and at night, the view is amazing. The only problem with Hong Kong is it does get misty/foggy, so make sure you go up on a clear day.

Also take a ride on the star ferry, very reasonable and great way to see the harbour.

Take the underground to Tung Chung and then the cable cars up to the Big Buddha on Lantau Island.

For a special treat visit the revolving restaurant, they also have an outside lift which has great views of the sky scrapers.

We also got the ferry to Lamma island and walked to the other side of the island(about 1 and half hrs on a clearly marked footpath) and got the ferry back from the other end of the island.

Shopping is really good in Hong Kong and I would definitely recommend visiting the various markets, there is something for everyone

We got a brilliant deal on this hotel( directly with them). We stayed in a harbour view room. From our room we could also see Victoria Park. The location is close to the MTR-about 3 mins walk but there wasn't really any restaurants etc in the immediate area. Our hotel room was small but perfectly formed. I particularly liked the vanity area which was sunk into the desk unit.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was very clean. We did not eat at the hotel but I heard the breakfasts were really good.

The rooftop pool has stunning views. There is also a well equiped gym. Husband had intended to use it but we seemed to spend all our time walking and didn't need to use the gym!

The hotel has a great bar which doubles as karaoke in the evening- Chinese style, very entertaining!
There is a hotel shuttle which takes you to the main Causeway bay area- we never used it either.

All in all - a nice hotel. The only reason I may not return is its location. It is nice to hve the option of NOT jumping on to the MTR to get to a restaurant.
