We stayed at this lovely site last month as part of a birthday treat for my mum, but the whole stay was spoilt by the dreadful tv reception or the lack of it. The lodges are nice and spacious with plenty of cooking implements, hot water and central heating. We found the sofas hard work sitting on them as they tend to sag into the same position! However, the whole week was hard work as my mum is elderly and they rely on television as part of their routine. We reported it 3 times on site and made a complain to both Hoseasons and Darwin Escapes but nothing has been done and they have ignored me. I would not recommend this site if you want to watch television.
This place is called a retreat but I didn't go "on retreat" so our week was not such a nice time away.
