Couldn't have asked for a more relaxed holiday. We celebrated our 30th weding anniversary here. We are keen divers and were very pleased with the 'boat house' at the hotel. Lots of free watersports. Plenty of sunbeds. Enormous choice of foods. Fantastic steak house and beach restuarant. Very good value all-inclusive. Staff couldn't do enough to help (even to the point that they would not allow my husband to carry a cup of coffee back to the sunbed on his own!) We had a penthouse which was well worth the extra money. Robes and slippers were a welcome sight on arrival! Taxis very cheap. Good local Monday market where you can sample true Mauritian living. Local supermarket which sells most things 10mins walk away. On site shop a little expensive. Get ready to welcome lizards and beetles in your room. But nothing was dangerous in or out of the water. Hope these notes help somebody.
