We booked this apartment in June and stayed there in September. As above they have a mini supermarket and the mini bus starts at 9am and runs to 5.50pm. The staff at reception were brilliant, and spoke great english, a quiet complex with a massice pool which was very nice. Im sure its a 3* but it was what we wanted and for the sake of

The apartments were very spacious and clean and provided guests with all necessary amenities including a fan and and iron free of charge.
The restaurant in the apartments was excellent and very reasonably priced.
The staff could not have been more helpful.
The location of the apartments was a bit far away especially for night time entertainment but taxis were very reasonably priced and there was a complementry bus during the day.
The entertainment in the apartments wasnt great but the bar was always busy and was good craic.

We spent 2 weeks in these apartments. They are quite spacious (1 bedroom), but have no air-con, and got very stuffy. We had a decent terrace equipt with sunloungers, table and chairs. However, the room we were given, was directly infront of a large building site, and therefore, our sea-view was almost completely blocked, and we did have a problem with noise (they start work at 8.00am-6.00pm, 7 days a week). Maybe if we had been nearer the reception, we might not have been affected.
There is a small shop which has the basics. There is a bar (not very comfortable), and restaurant, which served very nice meals. We ate there twice, and enjoyed it. There is no pool-side bar or snack-bar, which would have been nice. The pool is quite big, and there are plenty of sun-loungers. There is no entertainment, so families might find it a bit boring.
The Figueirinhas is surrounded by apartment blocks, and there is not much to do in the area. The small beach of Senhora da Rocha is a 10 minute walk away and there is 2 small snack-bars near it.
It's a good 30 minute walk from the centre of Armacao, with is long beach. The apartments provide a free mini-bus, but this only runs until 5.50 in the evenings. After that you will have to walk or get a taxi (5 euro).
