Lla Franc is just perfect! We have been in the height of summer, late October and early Easter...and every time we haven't wanted to leave! Some beautiful walks, especially round the headland to Calella which takes about 20 minutes & rewards you with fantastic views and some great tapas restaurants at the other end!
We would recommend hiring a car, although parking in the town is impossible in the summer, to explore the area (Begur is delightful and Palamos is well worth a day trip for shopping!)...we have been around the world but this area of the Costa Brava remains tops!
