The most western resort in Andalusia, Ayamonte offers stunning views over the mouth of the Guadiana River and is close to the beaches of Isla Canela and Punta del Moral. Although it is a relatively new city, it retains an old quarter where visitors can get lost in the narrow streets and discover hidden plazas. Sights to see include the 15th century Church of San Salvador which has a tower worth climbing for its far-reaching views. Ayamonte is also perfect for anyone seeking an active holiday due to the many nearby golf courses while water sports, sailing and some good walks are all close at hand.

The teenagers were very bored in the evenings as the entertainment for their age was really non exstent.

Would go back to the resort in about 5 to 10 years time when night life picked up.

Beach was lovely thou a bit shelly.
