Found this hotel very nice , and in the wing we were in, quiet. compared to the other 5*'s we stayed in the service wasnt quite as good, but they were very busy (first england test match) but still very good.

We stayed at the Earls Regency at Kandy for two nights during a Sri Lanka Highlights tour.
The hotel was delightful and I cannot imagine how anyone would fail to enjoy their stay here. We were welcomed with cool drinks and hot towels, and quickly checked in.
Our room was on the third floor and had a fantastic view of the river. The room was large and spotless, with a separate seating area and two dressing tables/desks and plenty of lighting options. The bathroom was all black marble and black tiles, with a bath and separate large shower cubicle with a power shower. There was a stocked fridge and an evening turn down service with fresh, warm towels.
The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, the bar had a great view of the river and drinks were reasonably priced.
The restaurant could not be faulted, we ate buffet style and the choice was fantastic.
I can recommend the spa, a Swedish massage was only 30 dollars and included use of the jacuzzi and steam room beforehand.
The hotel is a short distance from Kandy which is easily reached by taxi.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
