The best feature of the Taskule is its location. Beachfront and about 50 yards from the start of Yalikavak "High Street", ok not strictly a High Street, more like a shopping lane but you get the idea.
Hotel was very clean, rooms smartly furnished (although they do remove the lovely bedspread after your first day ???). Shoerw pretty good, air-con a bit weak.
Pool area very nice, quiet, a real sun trap. If it gets too hot, you can head to the shingle beach and sunbeds in front of the hotel, 30 seconds walk !
Staff were ok, if a little unhelpful, a lot to do with the language barrier possibly.
Restaurant food was lovely although service very slow (it wasnt busy). Breakfasts quite basic, Turkish but v.nice.
Overall the hotel was pretty good value for money
Yali is a fabulous little town, there are approx 20-30 restaurants within a 5 minute walk.
Would certainly return to Yalikavak, not sure if would go back to Taskule

Taskule is a small, intimate boutique hotel on the pedestrian only promenade in Yalikavak. Each of the rooms is individually decorated and our room had a very comfortable king size bed, gorgeous ensuite bathrooms with heavy marble countertops and turret like shower with massage sprays and various heads.
The room was light and airy and decorated with interesting art, stylish furniture and gorgeous flowing curtains. I believe each room and suite is different.
Although there was no sea view from our room we were surrounded by well cared for fragrant gardens with night flowering jasmine and hibiscus.
The staff were wonderful and were always working to keep the gardens neat and hotel clean. Our maids came early every morning as we left for breakfast and often we would return to find the bed scattered with begonia blossoms. All staff were friendly and smiled and said hello.
Breakfast was served on an open air terrace overlooking beautiful Yalikavak bay and every day was a simple but beautiful meal of a selection of local cheeses, fruit, jams and fabulous turkish bread.
The hotel manages its own stretch of beach and has ample loungers and food and drink service to the beach. There is a spotlessly clean swimming pool in the rear of the hotel which has the sun until late afternoon. We were the only people we ever saw use it.
At the front of the hotel there is a sports bar and in the evening the dining terrace also serves an extensive chinese menus which was extremely good.
This hotel had a great ambience for us, it was relaxed and yet elegant and also has wire free internet available for guests which was great for us as we were combining business with pleasure!
This hotel made an excellent base for exploring the whole peninsula. We could park nearby and yet in the evening it was a few minutes level walk to the lovely bars and restaurants along the bay front.
Cannot recommend this hotel enough...and they will be staying open all winter so we will going again as soon as possible.
