DOES NOT DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN!!!

Despite Warners claims that this resort is for adults only - it clearly is not. We stayed for 7 days in Sept. 2013 and found children running around passing our room on numerous occasions making a real din.

We chose Warners specifically to avoid this and feel their claims that the resort is "Just for adults" to be at best misleading and at worst fraudulent. Also they quote that there are "120 acres of tranquil gardens" - how can this be the case when they are open to the public including kids. They told me when I complained that there is mention that the area is open to the public in their printed brochure, but there is no such information on-line. When asked for a refund on the grounds that if we had known that the site may be frequented by children, we could have made an informed decision as to whether we stayed there or not. This was not given to us and feel angered that they are not refunding a penny of the £ 1280.00 paid.

We are parents and have two grandchildren, but wanted a complete and peaceful break and this was clearly not the case.

I would not recommend this as a peaceful holiday destination - BE WARNED!!!

Having just returned from a long weekend at the castle, I can not sing it's praises enough. We went to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday. He was well and truly spoiled. He had a song dedication by the main artists, it was lovely to watch his face light up when they said his name. The entertainment team were brilliant especially Lucy, she seemed to go that extra mile. We all had a brilliant time The food is amazing the accommodation was amazing. The receptionist on duty when we arrived was so helpful.Matt our waiter also was very accomadating. For a truly wonderful relaxing break thank you all so much

Part of the Warners Leisure chain of hotels, Bodelwyydan Castle is set in the middle of the beautiful West countryside and coastline. Great for exploring Llandudno and the Great Orme, Mount Snowdon and its steam railway, Conway Castle and many other areas of history.

The Castle itself is described as a Victorian Castle, and is surrounded by 200 acres of parkland, including many woodland walks.

Accommodation varies between Standard and premier Royale rooms, depending on your budget. We stated in mid-range Signature rooms, which included en suite bath, shower, tea and coffee making facilities, and TV. The beds were very comfortable, and the room had been freshly decorated. We were very comfortable.

One of the best things about Bodelwyddan is the meals on offer. For breakfast there is everything you can imagine. Traditional sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, also muesli, cereals, yogurts. All perfectly cooked.

The evening meal is a feast of delights! You can order from the menu or go to the counter and help yourself to a carvery. And the choice is excellent; we enjoyed roast gammon, ham, beef, and steak and kidney pies. Excellent fare - you wouldn't find better anywhere. The only problem was that at busy times, you may have to queue a little for the carvery. Suites are also delicious.

There are so many leisure activities available, from bowling, swimming, exploring the woodlands and maze, and in the evenings there is lots of choice of entertainment available.

On the downside - it is an expensive holiday, and the holiday is only available for adults, and not children. Therefore not suitable for families.

I couldn't recommend Warners Leisure and Bodelwyddan Castle more highly, and are set to return again this coming season.
