Important to realise that Tunisia isn't the hottest place in the world for bars, clubs and nightlife so if that is important perhaps Tunisia isn't the best choice for you.

Now that that is cleared up I will give you my recommendation and I know others will be happy to provide alternatives, my choice would be Port El Kantaoui (PEK) and the hotel Abou Sofiane.

PEK is a very clean, safe and friendly resort with a good choice of shops and many restaurants to eat in, the area down by the Marina is very pleasant and makes a good setting for meals.

The Abou Sofiane is a good hotel with an excellent animation team who work very hard and provide plenty of entertainment for all ages, this would be good for your age group, there are also plenty of activities including: Tennis, Archery, Football, Water polo etc along with a choice of water sports.
Location wise the hotel is about a 15-20 minute stroll along the road to the centre of PEK or you can walk along the lovely beach.
