Hi....Looking at going to Thailand in November !!
I really need some advice - would ideally like to see some sights and start and finish @ a beach resort.
I want to do a few days at a beach resort (diving etc), do Bangkok (nightlife) and the full moon party (Koh Phangan)
Has anyone any ideas that will assist with ideas as to the best locations given the travel considerations ??
Oh yeah...I'm looking at staying for 14-18 nights.

I'm no diver but I found this regarding diving in Koh Tao an island near Ko Phangnan

By the look of it November is not a good time to be diving in the area. (Samui/Phangnan/Tao).
The Andaman coast may be more promising.I know that the Similan Islands open up at the beginning of November and can be reached on a daily basis from Khao Lak or even Phuket or you could do a live aboard. Krabi is also opening up at this time.
Koh Chang may be an option as well. Macfarang might be able to advise here if he pops on.
