Gaz do you mean Paraiso De Albufeira? if you do it is situated just off the main drag road between the new town (The Strip/Montechoro) & the Old Town, so best of both worlds so to speak. Maybe other HT members could give you more information. Cheers Jayjan

The Paraiso is a massive hotel roughly midway between the Strip and the Old Town - well, a little closer to the Old Town to be precise.You'll be a 10 minute walk from the Old Town and 15 from the Strip.
There are shops and a huge Modelo supermarket near the hotel and the tourist 'train' stops about 300yds from the hotel.There's a taxi rank even closer.
