First things first :-

When you arrive at the hotel go down to the poolside and see Chris who looks after all the sunbeds. Reserve the sunbeds and shade you want for the two weeks (No charge).These will then be yours for the whole holiday (unless you want to change them). No early morning trips to reserve sunbeds with your towels.

For a taxi from the airport to the Alex try http://www.cytaxi.com and someone will meet you in the arrivals lounge. Should cost approx €25.

For Car hire try George & Kula at Easy Rent A Car Ltd on http://www.easyrentacarltd.com/home.htm . They are in the road directly opposite the Alexander the Great Tennis Courts.

For a decent room ask specifically NOT to be above the bar as this can be noisy at night time.

go the atrium across the road for a meal, you will not be disappointed although watch for the cars as it seemed to be the racing strip when we were there in july. also the romantica, up past the aloe is graet off sales that sells everything, u name they have it, cheap fod places too, enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
