:que Methinks that the climate at that time, and the height of the sun, affects the temperature of the pool and not the pool water itself. ;)

I was at Vengelis last year 10-17 October and we were in the pool every day. Also the pool was lovely size/depth etc. Also had the small indoor pool if required.

(lovely weather at that time last year wasn't it)

we stayed at the capo bay in october 2005 and found that their pool was freezing too, although other people didnt seem to mind it. they had a second pool that was heated and we went in that one, although we spent most of our time in the sea which was brilliant.

LOL - warm pools & October!

They don't go together in my vocabulary unless they are indoors and heated :)

The sea will probably be warmer than a pool at that time of year.

Good luck!
