We go to see Marta at the Beach Queen Shack in Calangute. She is a fully trained beautician and does brilliant facials. We have been going for the last 3 years. She has a book with photographs showing the full range of treatments with prices. Tell her Brenda & Liz sent you from Carys Hotel, she knows us well. You won't be disappointed, very reasonable prices.

There are some VERY cheap beauty places in Mapusa, I think you can have your eyebrows threaded for 5 rs/- etc... I'm sure tey would do facials too...

My favourite is in Agonda ~ Daisy at Flower Corner Florist and Beautician's. Does fantastic facials and threading, also manicures etc. She uses a fruit masque which smells of almonds, fantastic. She also gave some to me to use back in the UK. I call it my 'Daisy Cream', which makes her chuckle.
