The Fiesta in honour of the Virgin del Sufragio and St James the Apostle is held during the second weekend of November. A full programme of events is not normally published until much nearer the time, but you could try asking Tourist Info Benidorm if any advance info is available:

benidorm@touristinfo.net

I have merged this topic with a similar one from last year, which provides a little more info about the origins of this particular Fiesta.

Hi All.
I'm looking at going to Benidorm in November. Would like to know what the weather is like so I can pack the right stuff to wear. I'm also looking for a nice hotel that is close to the square and the beach. I'm looking at the Orange hotel at the mo but would like to see if there are any alternatives. I will be in Benidorm at their Fiesta time is this a good time to go and is the Fiesta weak any good. It's just myself and the wife bothe late 40s.Thanks.

we are going in November (1st week), we were there the same week last year and we had a great time, still very hot , swimming and beach everyday. Night times were a little bit cooler but we packed loads of jumpers and jeans but didn't need them. We may have just been lucky but my parents had an apartment on benidorm beach front for 20 years and we used to go a lot in November and I can never remember it being especially cold.

On a seperate note - we enjoyed it because it is a lot quieter than in August and if you can make it to the smaller bays (la cala) then there are a lot of spanish about on the weekends and a great atmosphere.

I believe that in the second week of November there is one of the main festivals, very impressive fire work displays and the old town is like a carnival.

Hi there, just returned from my first visit to Benidorm and I absolutely loved it. Stayed at the Sol Ocas and would thoroughly recommend it. Think I'm addicted as I want to go back for a long weekend in November now. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like in November? Is it still hot or not?

EDIT: Merged with existing similar thread, which may provide some useful info. Please also check out our Weather Q&As topic.

Well finally got a holiday going on the 11th of november for two weeks to the pelicanos or ocas, a week later than we wanted but looking forward to the fiesta as we were there in 2003 for it and it was fantastic, i think we get there the day it starts and will miss the iniatial parade which i was a little upset about, but we will be there for the rest of it can't wait, we was told last time that the final night of the firework display was on the levante side and we waited with hundreds of others to watch it on the beach, but it was the pontiente side and although we had a good view it was'nt the same, we could have kicked ourselves as we had seen them setting up a day before and did'nt realise till it was to late doh, will get it right this time, great atmosphere although will watch my head this time as got a few hard boiled sweets thrown at it during the parade lol

Hi there

Has anyone been to benidorm in november or are planning to go?

Wondering what the weather was like.

Our hotel has a covered pool, so any sunshine we get I am pressuming we have to go to the beach, is this feasible at this time of year, is it warm enough.

Do I pack shorts and strappy tops, bekini or jumpers t-shirts and long trousers?

EDIT: Merged with existing similar thread
