could anyone tell me if the Hotel Potamaki is still going strong, i went on holiday to corfu in the early 1970's or late 60's cant remember the exact year, in this hotel, at the time Benitses was just a small fishing village, with just one hotel, which was family owned. I remember going on a boat trip with a man called Angelo he and his father run boat trips to different places. Also the hotel only had about a dozen guests and that was in August, Benitses was a beautiful little village. I remember coming back from a boat trip to see army tanks rushing along the road, little did we know Greece were at war with turkey when we arrived back at the Hotel all the male staff had been called up, which left just ladies to run the hotel and the village From our balcony we could see Greek war ships going out to sea, it was a big adventure for me at the time I was only 10 lol wouldn't like to be in a country at war now, any information would be greatly appreciated on this hotel and area
