I've done the bus trip from PDLA to Puerto Santiago and back...it's quite a long trip, the bus goes all over the place, it's not a direct trip 
I think with a taxi it would be at least 30 euros...but don't quote me!

Have done this in a taxi (long story) and if my mind serves me right it was 30-35 euros one way and it is quite a journey.

The bus is a bit of a nightmare. Takes about an hour, goes all over the place, and also we had to stand in one direction as it's jam packed.
Sorry, but I wouldn't particularly recommend it....and I don't like Santiago/Gigantes much anyway.
