a few years ago my daughter and myself went to calella at the end of April beginning of may
and the weather wasn't very good , really cold and blowing a gale . The resort was very quiet
not all the hotels or shops were open , so it was quite boring really . The bars that were open were almost empty and not much of an atmosphere . there is a very good train service that runs to other resorts and to Barcelona .

I used to work in Calella many years ago and always went at the beggining of May, never had gales or cold weather tho it was a little dead, try beach boys or the white horse for sports (if they still there!)
