For Costa Brava/Maresme - Htop hotels do an AOA (or Secret Hotels as they call it) through thier online booking system. They let you know about 5 days before which hotel you are in.

This is a hotel only booking so you would have to find your own flights (and you just missed some £1 flights to Girona with Ryanair )

while i have no problems using htop hotels. and have done AOA through ferris holidays where you get an htop hotel, I would no longer consider this as i would not want to get either the alexis nor the casino royal in lloret. i also dont really like the idea of staying in pineda nor santa sussannah as both resorts are a bit too quiet for me.
try alpharooms or findmeaccom. you should be able to restrict your search to get something to suit you.

Funny old hotel but it sort of grew on us

Casino Royal...........allegedly the Police in riot gear were there last week (report from a holidaymaker who transferred out to the Alexis)
