Booked a late deal to have a cruise from Dom Rep for a week Full Board around Eastern Carribean then staying in Riu Bambu A/I hotel in Punta Cana.
Got a really good deal I think, has anyone done this recently who can give any advice or tips, as we haven't done a sea cruise before? i.e money, cabins, Duty Free's, shoreside trips, good shopping,dress codes etc etc. Ports of call are Grenada, St Lucia, Antigua,St Maartin and the Virgin Islands.
I have changed up £400 to USA Dollars for the week on board for drinks and any shore trips for two of us. Is this enough? If not will I be able to change sterling anywhere? We will only want to do our own thing ashore at each port, not go on expensive excursions.
Hopefully the A/I week will only cost tips money, as we will just want R&R that week.
