its been about 3 yrs since I was last in salou....we used to go mobile homes on the la siesta campsite...they had a money exchange on site for site users which was good...but site not there now...I always used travellers cheques ....and used to get a better deal there than others had got off site....

I meant take some english as you might need it for on the way home....pain needing a cash machine when all you want is to get home and have a brew....I used to use it for the cleaning deposit we had to pay ....you got it back when you checked out and mobile home inspected and signed as left clean....they accepted pounds or euros....so I always paid in pounds....so not using my euros for it ....then had english cash for coming home.....otherwise we landed up with about £50 worth of euros we didnt need as going on coach or flying home.

Hi, can anybody help please?
I am travelling to Salou for the first time in July.
Does anybody know where the best place is to exchange sterling into euros?
Which place offers the best rates?
If anyone can help I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks for your help, Andy !!!

I got 1.1419 when went rhodes 3 weeks ago....took way too much...so brought a lot back....Ive put away for next year as you loose money when you change it back....and rate maybe same or even worse next year ...did same last year...rate was 1.18 then...if I'd changed it back I would have lost some of the value...and then paid more to buy it back again for this years hols..... the only thing I like about the euro is the fact you can go different countries each year but you can use your euros from the year before....and you dont loose out by needing to cash in one currency and buy another.
