Probably not very easy without a car.
Is it a daytime or evening match?
Inter-town public transport tends to be fairly non-existant in the evenings.

I don't know what the situation is with regards to fans at international matches but local matches have been quite violent affairs, of late.

I went to the Cyprus v Wales Euro qualifier in Nicosia the year before last.
They were selling tickets for the home fans at the ground, although the away ones had to be got from the Welsh FA. I drove to this one.

I also went to see Famagusta v Rangers in the Champions League qualifier a couple of years before that and many of the hotels, bars, tour shops were selling tickets and coach travel to and from the ground.

Granted both these games are a while ago, but we experienced no trouble at all.

Co-incidentally, there's a discussion just started re going to the footy in Cyprus here.
